PCAA Minutes from March 21, 2011 meeting, held at EL Paso Bar and Grill, El Paso, Wi. ATTENDEES: Tina Huppert, Sharolyn Johnson, Darren Place, Aaron Steele, Scott Jones, Gerald M Johnson, Shane Lardahl, Larry L. Johnson, Dick Wall Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm by President Larry Johnson. Secretary's Report offered by Dick Wall. Moved by Scott Jones, second by Jerry Johnson, to approve minutes. Motion passed. Treasurer's Report offered by Dick Wall. No bills or expenses were submitted for payment. Start up cash to sell brunch tickets at the Expo was returned unused for deposit. Clarification on handling the St Croix County ATV club's participation in the up coming Sunday, April 3rd Brunch. Moved by Scott Jones, second by Jerry Johnson, to have St Croix Club will write one check to our club for the total of their sales, and we will write one check to the Moose Lodge and one check to the St Croix County club for their share of net proceeds and to approve Treasurer's report. Motion passed. Several members offered updates on on-going subjects including Wildwood Trail, Town of River Falls meeting, Pierce County Highway Committee meeting, Safety Class at Baldwin March 12 and 19, WATVA Annual Meeting April 15-17, Minnesota ATV Fair April 30-May 1, 2011 at Anoka, Mn Fairgrounds, smelt feed at Spring Valley, renewing Gilman ATV ordinance, and crop damage paid by clubs on off-road trails. No action taken. Moved by Scott Jones, second by Jerry Johnson, to have PCAA become member of Snow Valley Riders Snowmobile Club. Motion passed. Moved by Scott Jones, second by Jerry Johnson, to have PCAA acquire a number from Dairyland Insurance Company in order to receive $10.00 from Dairyland for every inquiry made by members to Dairyland whether they buy insurance from them or not. Funds received are to be used for a scholarship from club. Motion passed. Scott Jones and Darren Place offered update on our first entry into the Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce Spring Fever Expo held Sat March 19 at the Ellsworth High School. DNR Warden Brad Peterson was also in attendance. Many questions were answered, lots of brochures were passed out, and very favorable feeling toward effort to help public get acquainted with PCAA and ATVing. Club offered round of applause to Scott and Darren for their efforts, and to Larry Johnson for instructing at the Baldwin Safety Class. Club also extends its thanks and appreciation to DNR Warden Brad Peterson for attending and offering his insights on ATV issues. Moved by Scott Jones,second by Jerry Johnson to adjourn at 8:21 pm.
